Islamabad Declaration Announced at the second National Conference: ‘Healing the Healers’

Confidentiality

Privacy & data protection

Healing the Healers is a wellbeing support initiative, a project of Alfalah Foundation Pakistan. We treat what you share as confidential and store it so that our designated team can understand your needs and make contact.

What we collect

The assessment asks about your work, wellbeing, and support preferences. We collect your name, email, and phone number so we can arrange a follow-up conversation.

How it is stored

Contact details, free-text answers, and clinical notes are encrypted before they are written to the database. Access is limited to signed-in administrators. Every view, claim, assignment, and email is recorded in an audit log.

Who can see it

Doctor-administrators can see unassigned support requests and the cases they have claimed or been assigned. A coordinator can assign or reassign cases.

How long we keep it

We keep records for as long as they are needed to provide support and meet safeguarding duties, then close or archive them. You may email the team if you would like to discuss deletion of a follow-up request.

Emergency care

This service is not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, seek emergency help at once.
